Washington 6th grade social studies students wrapped up their Ancient India unit with a STEM Challenge. Applying their knowledge of simple machines and Ancient India irrigation systems, students created their own ancient irrigation system. Testing their systems at the end of the challenge by moving water from one container, proving to be a challenging, wet, exciting experience. #WarsawInspires

February days may seem cold and dreary and can mean a good deal of inside recesses. Even when the windchill keeps us inside, we reclaim and reframe this time for good. We are always delighted when we see students spontaneously use the skills they've learned to keep building and to find connections. #WarsawInspires
