Emily Gough

Warsaw Community High School

This week we’re recognizing Mrs. Emily Gough, science teacher at Warsaw Community High School.

Mrs. Gough has built a strong Environmental Science program at WCHS. Her Envirothon team regularly performs at a high level. This past year they finished 6th at the international competition. She also leads the school’s Environmental Club, which organizes sustainability efforts focused on reducing environmental impact across the district.

Beyond her work at the high school, Mrs. Gough has created learning connections across WCS. For several years, she has helped to organize dissection labs where WCHS students guide elementary students through hands-on science activities.

Thank you, Mrs. Gough, for your continued commitment to environmental education and STEM learning throughout the district.

What is Tiger Tuesday?

Glad you asked! Every two weeks, Warsaw Community Schools unites in their Tiger Tuesday shirts and we take the time to surprise and celebrate an individual who unites others.

Recipients are honored with a small gift, a video highlight, and the joy of being recognized in front of their peers. These moments shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to bring people together, support others, and spread positive energy across our schools.
