Edgewood Middle School

The Warsaw Middle School Bands will present their Spring Concert on Monday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Auditorium. The concert will include favorites such as "The Hunger Games," "Selections from Harry Potter," and "Edelweiss." The combined Edgewood/ Lakeview Bands will be performing as well as the 6th grade band. The middle school bands are under the direction of Joseph Peloza. Enjoy a night of music and help celebrate the accomplishments of these great student musicians. Students in 8th grade U.S. History are learning about the Election of 1860. Students have volunteered to read speeches by the four candidates and the whole class will analyze each candidates stance on important political issues due the time period. Today, had a special appearance by the winner of the 1860 election, Mr. Abraham Lincoln. #ExperienceWCS

Prototypes built - check! Prototypes tested - check! Each homeroom tested prototypes to determine how much weight the boat could hold, and how long it floated. They selected a winning design for the next step - build a full scale cardboard boat! Watch for pictures! #ExperienceWCS #EdgewoodSTEM

The 8th grade Personalized PE & 7th grade Total PE & Wellness classes got out into the community and traveled to Winona Lake park for sand volleyball, Pickleball and spikeball. The goal is for the classes are experience and enjoy lifetime activities available in our area. Our area has a lot to offer! #ExperienceWCS

The boys' track team had a very hot and tough meet. Out of 16 teams we placed 10th. Many guys stepped up and worked hard. Coach is proud of all our athletes. Everyone will need lots of rest, water, and maybe some aloe for the sunburn. #ExperienceWCS
